Chaparrí Chaparrí is located between Lambayeque and Cajamarca, an hour and a half from
Chiclayo to Chongoyape. Depending on the time of year you choose to visit, there are
certain items you will want to include, as the dry forest is well-documented to have two
distinct seasons; a wet or rainy season runs from January to April and a dry season the
rest of the year between May to December.
